One coil reel, one hydraulic straightener, one clamp-and-push stroke drive, one fibre down the tube. The drive clamps the tubing, strokes it forward, releases and resets, and a person steers the head off downhole attitude sensing carried back up the same fibre.
It also stays where you can see it. This is a surface plant: nothing enters the ground but the tubing and the head. The tubing is itself the delivered product where the job calls for conduit left in place, and it retracts back through the drive where it does not. A designation on this family names an application, not a separate machine.
The defence application. CS-410 is the plant pointed at ground that has to be made, not found: a bore driven forward, a conduit laid as it goes, a person holding the loop for the whole run. It is carried to the job on a trailer, on a skid or rigged for an air drop, and the carrier format is part of the specification rather than a separate product.
The civil application. Aquifer CS-411 is the same plant pointed at utility and infrastructure ground: conduit installed along a planned alignment, and the ground logged for conductivity, moisture and strata as the bore advances, a record the utility or civil client uses directly.
